Currently Loving: June Edition

As a child of the Internet, I’ve had many, many blogs over the years. Some have had themes, some haven’t, but one theme I always keep coming back to is my “currently loving” posts. I feel like by sharing what I’m currently listening to, watching, wearing, etc. I’m sharing a part of what’s important to me with everyone that I care about.

So without further ado, I’m bringing back the monthly currently loving posts. Welcome to the June edition. Caution though, unless you wanna spend some $$$, maybe lock those debit cards away.

WEARING: Turquoise Palm Print Dress from Old Navy (On sale for $26)

I have no idea what possessed me to try this on because it’s SO FAR from what I would normally wear, but I’m so glad I took a chance on it because I am *obsessed*. Just look how happlp0py I am in the picture below.

READING; Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight

So if you don’t know, I’m kind of a bookworm or at least I used to be. I’ve vowed to get back to that though. I’ve only recently started prioritizing time for reading books though and not just e-readers, articles, and magazines, but Reconstructing Amelia is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Especially with the twists that you don’t see coming. I gasped so loud I sucked all the air out of the room while reading this one.

WATCHING: Riverdale, Season 2

I’m really late to the party on season 2 because all my friends have already finished it, but holy shit this show is so good. 10/10 would recommend binge watching because then you don’t have to wait week by week.

LISTENING: Such A Simple Thing by Ray LaMontagne

I’ve been a fan of him for so long, especially on the Parenthood season soundtracks. The new song is so beautiful, melodic and perfect for falling asleep to, for ambient noise while you work, or if you’re like me, while you write your blog. I’ve listened to it three times already while writing this post.

USING: Cherryish Body Scrub from Lush

During the Summer, my skin gets SO DRY, so exfoliation is a must. This shower scrub from Lush is in solid form, so it’s easy to use and easy to store. The chocolate-cherry scent is delicious and will have the bathroom smelling good for hours after use. It’s very exfoliating and SUPER moisturizing, but not so greasy that you can’t use it every day. I highly recommend it, especially for the hot summer months ahead.

What are you currently listening to, using, watching, or wearing? Share your faves with me in the comments & maybe they’ll make it onto next month’s currently loving!
